Tips: Contact of circular connector
Contact is the core part for achieving the function of electric connection. Generally, male contact and female contact (contact pin and socket) constitute contact pair. Electric connection is achieved through the connection of male contact and female contact.

Male contact is generally made of copper. Its front end is the part achieving the effective contact of contact pin and socket. Its rear end is used to connect to wire and PCB board, also known as termination parts.
Female contact (socket) is the critical part of contact pair. It contacts with male contact closely depending on the elastic deformation in the connection of elastic structure and contact pin. Contact is divided into non-removable contact and dismountable contact by whether it can be removed from insulating mounting plate.
