3″ is the standard extension bar size. The longer extension bars are used in various applications.
The longer extension bars are ideal when welding longer deformed bar anchor studs (DBA) can also be used in combination with arc shaft extensions to create a situation where you are not bending over as much when welding shear connectors and headed concrete anchors.
