Description
Type I Cans have a single spring-loaded spout. They’re designed for storing and carrying flammable liquids you’ll be pouring into containers with wide openings. One-pint to one-gallon models has a fixed handle with trigger release cap for one-hand pouring. Larger models feature a swinging handle for easy handling of full cans. All sizes include a free-flow 3 1/2″ Stainless Steel flame arrestor and spring-loaded pressure relief vent.
The high-density polyethylene safety can with stainless steel hardware stands up to tough acids and corrosives. Use polyethylene cans when dent and chemical resistance are important. The self-closing cap has a pressure relief mechanism and a stainless steel flame arrester to prevent ignition sources from entering without restricting liquid flow in or out of the can.
The polyethylene safety can have a patented conductive carbon insert that is embedded into the rib of the container, completing a ground path between the cover assembly and the flame arrester in the spout. This provides proper grounding when used with a grounding strip.
Standard color is red for flammables.
