4GV Variation 2 Super Pakcs are certified by the UN, and they are compliant with all of the requirements for DOT CFR 178.601 and IATA Section 6.3.1.7. Shipper is required to make use of Vermiculite Packing Material in the amounts that are specified for each stock number. Call for details. The cushioning and absorbent properties of vermiculite make it an ideal material for transporting a variety of hazardous liquids. Grade number 4 Vermiculite has a low density and can take up to one gallon of water per cubic foot of space before it becomes saturated.
