The Caleffi Z42 is a 2-way motorized zone valve assembly featuring a 1/2″ SAE flare brass valve body paired with a Z111000 normally closed spring-return actuator. This combination provides precise on/off flow control for hydronic heating and cooling systems. The valve closes automatically when power is removed, offering dependable performance for system isolation and control.

The assembly is UL873, cULus Listed, and CE certified, meeting UL 1995 section 18 standards for air plenums and ducts. It includes an integrated SPST auxiliary microswitch for control feedback or interlock. Designed for long service life, the Z42 features a stainless steel stem, EPDM seals, and brass construction for durability and corrosion resistance in hydronic applications.
