Aerovent Safety Drum Vent

Triple-action Aerovent® has a built-in activated carbon filter that captures VOC emissions released during drum venting. Automatic pressure relief at 5 psi protects the drum from damage. Automatic vacuum relief allows chug-free draining. Internal flame arrestor prevents flashback from external sources of ignition. Brass vent body, polyethylene filter housing. Fits 2″ NPS bung. 6″ diameter x 12 1/2″ high.

• The Justrite® Aerovent® safey vent automatically vents pressure build-up between 3 and 8 psi (30 to 55 kPa) and relieves vacuum for chug-free dispensing or draining of drums.
• It combines a built-in charcoal filter that captures VOC emissions with a plastic mesh coalescing filter that captures moisture released during drum venting as one unit/filter.
• The internal flame arrestor prevents flashback from external sources of ignition.
• Aerovent® has a brass vent body, and a polyethylene filter housing. Fits 2 inch NPS bung. 6 inch diameter x 12 1/2 inch high

• One extra filter (charcoal and plastic coalescing filter combined as one filter) is included with Aerovent® Safety Drum Vent.

• To use Aerovent® Safety Vent with a horizontal drum attach an optional 2 inch adapter (SKU 8011) or a 3/4 inch adaptor (SKU 8015).
• To use this safety vent with a 3/4 inch bung opening on a vertically positioned drum, attach optional adapter (SKU 8RM05431).
