The Wizard® Stationary Fiber Dechimer is designed to dechime moderate to high volumes (more than 50/day) of fiber drums, making disposal of the empty drums easier and less expensive. This heavy-duty, fully automatic, computer controlled machine does all the work for you. Simply insert a drum and the dechimer automatically self-adjusts to height of drum. Then it revolves the drum, removing the top and bottom metal chimes at the same time. This all-in-one operation takes less than two minutes. The dechiming operation is electric powered and the cutting operation that employs a blade to sever the chime at the end of the cycle is powered by air.
