Tips for troubleshooting multilayer ceramic chip capacitor
- When dealing with faulty chip capacitors, all capacitors should be taken out of operation first, and then the isolation switch should be opened, otherwise it is easy to cause arcing of the isolation switch and cause damage.
- After the capacitor fails, the casing may still be charged, so you have to wait for about 3 minutes before touching the capacitor, and use the wire to short-circuit the outgoing terminal to discharge, and confirm that there is no remaining power before disposal.
- When replacing the capacitor, clean up the original oil stains, which is convenient for the operation and observation of the new capacitor.
- The tightening part of the wire should be properly tightened to avoid damage caused by excessive force or insufficient tightening, resulting in poor contact and burning of the terminal.
- When disposing of faulty capacitors, if there is a situation that cannot be confirmed, consult the manufacturer’s technicians in time, and do not blindly dispose of them, which will cause larger failures.
